Flip A Strip

The project flips the typical suburban strip mall inside out - taking full advantage of residual space between existing buildings and more importantly the perimeter of underutilized sites to create newly defined program for potentially any site along a typical strip.

Program is introduced to the residual wrapper to create a 24 hour environment. The wrapper adapts and changes in height and width, depending on the program housed within it. and limited life span of strips.
